Our Bromine (Br₂) is available in 10g, 30g, 50g, 100g, 300g quantities to accommodate various research and industrial applications.
We prioritize quality and transparency. Each batch is analysed by FT-IR spectroscopy on our Agilent Cary 630 instrument. Although, since bromine is such a dark and corrosive liquid, its often not scanned, and instead we prioritise distilling the product several times to ensure purity instead.
The product is shipped in sealed glass ampoules, unless requested otherwise.

Utility in the Lab:
Bromine is used in the synthesis of brominated organic compounds, as well as in the production of flame retardants and other specialty chemicals.
Safety Reminder:
Bromine is highly corrosive and toxic. It must be handled with extreme caution under strictly controlled conditions, using full PPE and proper ventilation.
